At KudosWall, we are all about sharing your achievements so that you can you put them to use later. Whether it’s reflecting on your past, showing your family what’s new, or making sure schools understand your skills. But what you may not have known about our tool is that you can make the most out of it by inviting friends. Because on KudosWall, you can build a community of your closest friends, coaches, mentors, and classmates who are there to encourage you at every step.
Welcome back to “From the Co-founder’s Desk”! This week’s post — all about the incredible sense of community that KudosWall provides, and how to max-out the social part of our social platform!
One of our favorite parts of KudosWall is how social it is! We like to think of KudosWall as an app with two parts; The first being an awesome tool for students to build their portfolios with great ease, and the second being a social platform for students to share their proudest moments with their friends. Today we’re going to talk about the social aspect, which is something that can really enrich your KudosWall experience. On KudosWall, we made sure that posting your achievements feel just like posting on any other social platform, which meant that we would also make sure that after posting (or, post-posting), interaction would also feel just like any other social platform; but this time it’s all positive and relating to your proudest moments!

The best part of having the KudosWall community is that when it comes to posting all of your proudest moments; you can ensure that your friends will be there along the way to congratulate and support you. Another big thing with the community on KudosWall is that you can show your progress as well as see the progress of those around you. This means that your stream grows with you, and there to witness it is everyone who supports you!
Of course, we know that security is a big deal when it comes to sharing all of those proud moments, which is why we make sure that you are 100% in control of who sees what. Which means if you want to hide that drawing you made in kindergarten (we don’t get why — it looks amazing 🎨)you can keep it in your KudosWall collection, without sharing it with your friends. But privacy extends past just individual posts! We also protect your portfolios, so that only those who have a link can view it.
Another cool thing about inviting friends to KudosWall; we reward you for it. When you sign up for KudosWall (this applies if you have an account as well) and invite your friends to build that awesome community of yours, we give you points you can use towards features such as our premium portfolio. Easy, fun, and makes the whole experience even better. So what are you waiting for? Sign up and build your portfolio — and your community.
