Career Objective vs Profile Summary

First, let us have a basic understanding of these two. A career objective is typically an applicant-centric pitch telling the employers what you are looking for and what skills you can offer. A profile summary, however, is similar to a sales pitch and highlights the qualifications required for the position.

People about to start their careers choose career objectives more often than not, as they may still need to hone job-related skills. Experienced professionals must highlight the relevant experience and other qualifications to get ahead in the job application process.
